iPAQ, Qt and Opie installation and compilation notes

• iPAQ installation notes
  How to install Familiar and Opie on 3670, 3870 and 3970 iPAQs. It explains especially how to configure a desktop PC to communicate with the iPAQs, through serial (with minicom and PPP) or USB, and how to give full network access to the iPAQs (with NAT and masquerading managed by iptables). The instructions will be easier to follow on a Debian Linux, but most of them will work with any Linux distributions; if you only have a Windows™ desktops some links for Windows™ users are provided.

  I explain here how to download, configure, install or build Qt/Embedded and Opie on a Intel (x86) Linux (e.g. Debian) client, for both x86 and ARM (iPAQs) target architectures.
