In order to use the "Warsaw" Beamer theme with frame numbers on the bottom of each frame, I had to slightly modify some theme files. Here are the modified files I created, in their respective directory, which you must put in the proper directory on your system ; on my computer, under Debian GNU/Linux (Etch), with the LaTeX distribution teTeX, I put them into the directory : /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/beamer/themes You may have to use super-user privileges to do this. I had then to make the distribution understand the new files were available, by running : # texhash This creates a "new" Beamer theme, called "MyWarsaw", which is in fact a copy of the "Warsaw" Beamer theme containing also frame numbers at the bottom of each frame. You will also be able to use the original "Warsaw" Beamer theme just the way you did before. This procedure also works with Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon and TeXLive. I couldn't test this on other systems. -- Joël Lopes Da Silva > LeJo <
